Hindustan Unilever’s Q1 net profit rises 5.7% to Rs 1,897 cr sales up 3.7%

FMCG big Hindustan Unilever on Tuesday described a 5.7 per cent raise in consolidated net profit to Rs 1,897 crore for the first quarter finished June 30.&#13

The enterprise experienced posted a net profit of Rs 1,795 crore in April-June quarter of the former fiscal.&#13

“Even though constraints keep on owing to restrictions in many areas of the state and the near-term demand outlook remains unsure, we keep on being effectively-positioned to travel aggressive, successful, and liable progress. The extensive-term structural option of FMCG in India also stays intact,” HUL CMD Sanjiv Mehta said.&#13

Shares of HULon Tuesday settled at Rs 2,319.10 apiece on BSE, down .48 per cent from prior close.&#13
